Booking must be made and confirmed in advance by telephone, email or post.
Every effort is made to get the passenger to the destination in good time. JMK Transport & Travel will not accept any liability for missed flights / sailings due to traffic delays through accidents, traffic jams, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions or anything else that could not be anticipated.
We advise passengers to plan to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to flight departure to allow for possible unpredicted delays en route to the airport. JMK Transport & Travel will not take responsibility for any passengers missing their flight if two hours check in time was not allowed.
All baggage carried by JMK Transport & Travel is at the customers’ own risk. JMK Transport & Travel accept no liability for damaged or lost property.
All payments should be made in advance by cheque, credit card or BACS. Cash payments must be made at the beginning of your journey. Confirmation for credit card or BACS payments will be emailed to the hirer once the payment has been received. Receipts for cash payments will be given at the end of the journey, if required.
Any cancellation made more than 24 hours before the journey will be entitled to a full refund, less any handling charge for credit card payments. If the hirer cancels on the day of the hire, they will only be entitled to a refund of 50% of the total fare.
Anybody who is not at the arranged pick up point will receive no refund.
The amount of luggage must be agreed at the time of booking. The driver is not allowed to take excessive luggage if it overloads the vehicle. The drive may refuse to take any extra luggage not previously agreed.
The driver may refuse to transport any passengers under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs.
The hirer will be responsible for any damage they or their party may cause to the vehicle. The hirer may also be charged valeting fees if the vehicle is left in an unsuitable condition.
Passengers must wear seat belts at all times.
The consumption of food and drink in the vehicle is prohibited.
The driver will make every effort to arrive at the arranged pick up point punctually. However, JMK Transport & Travel shall not be liable for any losses resulting from late or non arrival at the agreed pick up point, due to traffic problems, mechanical breakdown, adverse weather or any other circumstances beyond its control.
No responsibilities for costs are to be refunded to any passengers who do not wait for their driver and take alternative transport.
We do not charge for the 1st hour’s waiting time after the plane has landed. Waiting time charges start once the 1st hour has elapsed from when the aircraft has landed and will be charged, regardless of reason, at £16.50/hr pro rata. Waiting time for all other journeys will be added at £16.50/hr pro rata from the scheduled pick up time.
If your flight has any serious delays please inform us or the driver as soon as possible.
JMK Transport & Travel will use their own vehicle; however, in an emergency reserve the right to use a third party.
The hirer will be emailed or sent by post details of the journey. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check that the details are correct.
